This has been coming up in my mind a lot. Is he or is he not? Or does he have a girlfriend of something…? He has never said he was gay but has he been seen with men in a relationship? He ranked #2 in Out magazine’s most powerful gay men and women.

My girlfriend forces me to go to church every Sunday?
The idiot thinks it will be good for our relationship (like Jesus will magically give her a fully functional brain).
Sunday is the only day I can watch Washington Journal while eating donuts and drinking coffee in my pj’s. (she thinks c-span is boring; she always asks when Anderson Cooper will be on)
So when we go to church, she falls asleep. What the hell is wrong with her?
And today she suggested I take communion. Two problems:
1. I was never even baptized (my parents are smart)
2. I don’t want the germs of other people and the priest’s hand when they do what they have to do.
I am also afraid of long lines.
What can I do to fix this (aside from getting her pregnant, having an abortion and telling everyone at the church)

Nice sense of humor.. Kind of mean though XD dude, if you think she’s an idiot then why are you with her? And then on top of that a hypocrite? Nah.. I say tell her: either you leave my sundays alone, or you leave me alone. It doesnt really seem like you have much admiration for her anyways..

Who are these mysterious ‘SOURCES??” Are they rogue employees? Spies? Disgruntled janitors?
Don’t you too find it a little disconcerting when a news channel claims that “sources close to the white house report etc… or sources around the club house maintain etc. – Don’t get me wrong, I am just as impressed (if a bit disturbed) as the next guy by how Stephen A. Smith knows weeks before it happens that Phil Jackson is planning to break up with long time girlfriend, Jeanie Buss. However, it gets a little scary when I begin to wonder how Anderson Cooper knows that the president has decided to choose so and so for his Sec. of whatever – weeks before it happens. Who are these “sources”…?

Leaks by those in power. If say Obama wanted to test how people would react to Hillary Clinton as Sec of State, he could ask one of his aids to leak it to a friendly press person who wouldn’t say who it was from. Then he could see how it would affect the public. If he got support he would then appoint her, it not he would claim it was a false rumor.
There are many situations where people want to see the public’s reaction before making a decision, this one is very popular with all politicians.

Are psychics (Sylvia Browne & John Edwards) fake?
I believe in the possibility of ghosts and an afterlife but I am unsure about psychics- mainly the well-known and especially Sylvia Browne. I started reading Sylvia Browne’s ” The Rich & Famous in the Afterlife” because it just seemed too interesting to past by, even if it was fake: James Dean’s actual words after his crash, George Carlin saying “I’ll be damned” as he emerges from the tunnel- what a fun read! In the introduction I came across a lot of the familiar terms I’ve seen in other spiritual books; astral projection, reincarnation, the akashic records. I thought, “Hmm, all this seems to be adding up.” and I started buying into it, actually calling my girlfriend to tell her all this mind blowing information about Albert Einstein working with Galileo on time travel that will be accessible in 2040 through the Bermuda Triangle. But after I researched her, she did seem a bit priggish. After the Anderson Cooper show, seeing how her business manager acted AND how she refused to do the challenge with James Randi, I had been brought back to my senses.
The only reason I question John Edwards is because he has a somewhat equal stature to Browne. I now question the whole operation of the psychic business; not that I didn’t before; I’m just more skeptical. SO HELP PSYCHICS, SPIRITUALISTS, ANALYSTS, WHOEVER, to help give me more insight on what I should buy.
another question: Is astral projection real and to what extent can you travel? I have read Astral Dynamics by Rpbert Bruce and now question that.

Well, they don’t follow God..
The Bible strongly condemns spiritism, mediums, the occult, and psychics (Leviticus 20:27; Deuteronomy 18:10-13). Horoscopes, tarot cards, astrology, fortune tellers, palm readings, and séances fall into this category as well. These practices are based on the concept that there are gods, spirits, or deceased loved ones that can give advice and guidance. These “gods” or “spirits” are demons (2 Corinthians 11:14-15). The Bible gives us no reason to believe that deceased loved ones can contact us. If they were believers, they are in heaven enjoying the most wonderful place imaginable in fellowship with a loving God. If they were not believers, they are in hell, suffering the un-ending torment for rejecting God’s love and rebelling against Him.
So, if our loved ones cannot contact us, how do mediums, spiritists, and psychics get such accurate information? There have been many exposures of psychics as frauds. It has been proven that psychics can gain immense amounts of information on someone through ordinary means. Sometimes by just using a telephone number through caller ID and an internet search, a psychic can get names, addresses, dates of birth, dates of marriage, family members, etc. However, it is undeniable that psychics sometimes know things that should be impossible for them to know. Where do they get this information? The answer is from Satan and his demons. “And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve” (2 Corinthians 11:14-15). Acts 16:16-18 describes a fortune teller who was able to predict the future until the apostle Paul rebuked a demon out of her.
Satan pretends to be kind and helpful. He tries to appear as something good. Satan and his demons will give a psychic information about a person in order to get that person hooked into spiritism, something that God forbids. It appears innocent at first, but soon people can find themselves addicted to psychics and unwittingly allow Satan to control and destroy their lives. Peter proclaimed, “Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour” (1 Peter 5:8). In some cases, the psychics themselves are deceived, not knowing the true source of the information they receive. Whatever the case and wherever the source of the information, nothing connected to spiritism, witchcraft, or astrology is a godly means of discovering information. How does God want us to discern His will for our life? God’s plan is simple, yet powerful and effective: study the Bible (2 Timothy 3:16-17) and pray for wisdom (James 1:5).
